I am a fashion photographer based in Montreal that aims to inspire and empower my viewers through creative freedom, forward-thinking and artistic expression. Growing as a cross-culture woman is complex but is also a true creative blessing. Born in Canada and growing up with an Cameroonian father and Belgian mother opened my mind in so many ways.
When I was young I would always observe people around me, just by sitting and looking at them in the mall, in the street, at family parties; observing their behaviours and manners. People have always fascinated me. This is one of the reason why I'm drawn to psychology and sociology, because it's a bit like the "art" of observation, the art of reflection of the world in which we live. And photography allows me to do that on a more intimate level; it allows me to sit with somebody and sort of learn them and capture them while them being open to it. I learned so much about humans and their behaviours the last year, just based of photography.
Ecclectic styles, mixed cultures, minorities representations, collaborations with emerging artists and new friendship experiences inspire my everyday work. I love to tell stories, challenge, engage my viewers and create conversation.
